Daniel C. Gehani, DDS, MS, MBA
Dr. Dan realizes that a person’s teeth are the first thing that most people notice when they meet someone. He chose to become an orthodontist so that he can help change people’s lives, giving them confidence through a beautiful smile. Being an orthodontist is so much more than just a “job” to Dr. Dan. He truly believes that when you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. That may sound cliché, but he realizes how blessed he is to have found his life’s purpose. You can feel his energy and compassion from the moment you meet him!
Education and Experience
Dr. Dan is highly educated with a doctorate and two master’s degrees:
- Bachelors Degree in Biology – University of the Pacific
- Masters Degree in Biology – New York University
- Doctorate Degree in Dentistry – Stony Brook University
- Masters Degree in Business – Roseman University
- Orthodontics Certificate – Roseman University
Dr. Dan regularly attends meetings to stay on top of the latest trends and technology in the orthodontics industry. He realizes that there is always a better and faster way to achieve ideal results and he wants his patients to benefit from his education and experience. Dr. Dan is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This achievement of being “board-certified” is shared by only the top 25% of orthodontists in the country. He had the highest score on the ABO written exam among all his co-residents. He is also a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.
Outside the Office
Dr. Dan was born and raised in Long Island, NY. His mother and sister are both orthodontists and his father is an endodontist. Dr. Dan recently moved to the Dallas Metroplex and loves it here! He can honestly say that he has lived all over the country, and is finally “home” here in Dallas!
During his free time, Dr. Dan enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife Vijal, his bubbly daughter Vidanya, and his adorable son Daviyan. The four of them love playing with their small Yorkie dog named Zoinki and toy poodle named Teddy. When he’s not working, Dr. Dan can usually be found playing basketball or watching sports. He is happy to be living among such sports enthusiasts here in Dallas! Dr. Dan is most passionate about his family. His wife and his children mean the world to him!
